So it's been too long since I've blogged and I'm very sorry. I have good intentions, then life takes over.

In a world riddled with a virus and lockdowns every two seconds, I know so many others are feeling the same way. For anyone who actually reads these blogs, thank you . I want to do better and I'm always trying.

Today, I'm prompted to blog about some exciting news I received over the weekend. I entered my debut novel 'Abandoned Hearts' into Romance Writers of New Zealand Koru Awards. I found out over the weekend that my book received 'Best First Book' and I can't tell you how excited I am!

It's an author's aim to write a good book and when this is recognised by reviews, feedback, or in this case an award, it's seriously mind blowing.

To the judges involved, thank you.
